Reading chat shouldn't force you out of the game. Multichat puts messages from your three networks in a window that stays on top, and when someone writes something good you highlight it with a star so it shows up in the scene for everyone.

Transparent and locked
In transparent mode only the text sits over the game, and when locked you can click through the chat into the game: keep reading while you play, without the window getting in the way.
Highlight the best of your chat
The highlight box lives in your scene, hidden, and appears only when you highlight a comment from multichat with the star; remove it and the box hides again.
