Scenes

Where it is: Side menu → Scenes (or “Edit” on Studio's Scenes card)

Scenes is where you build what's seen on stream. Each scene is a set of layers (your screen, your camera, images, the chat…) that you move, crop and order on a canvas. Your scenes are on the left, the canvas in the middle and the layer list on the right.

What are scenes and projects? How do I create, rename or duplicate a scene?

A scene is a complete layout: for example “Playing”, “Just chatting” or “Starting soon”. During the stream you switch between them from Studio.

Projects group scenes to tidy up a long list. Pick or create one with the selector at the top of the left column; you can also rename it.

With + you create a new scene. In each scene's ⋯ menu you have Rename, Duplicate, Delete and Export scene as link.

What is a layer and what types can I add?

Everything you see is a layer. With the + on the layer list you add:

  • From any streaming app: screen, window, game, camera, phone, image, GIF, video, text, timer, colour, browser and audio.
  • StreamPack's own (they work once your networks are connected in Livestreaming): Live chat (all your networks together), Top donors and Top likes, On-screen crowd (your viewers walking around the scene), Follower goal, Highlight box (one comment shown big), Scoreboard, Social networks, Presets and VTuber.

The layer at the top of the list is the one in front; drag the ⋮⋮ handle to change the order.

Which StreamPack Studio elements can I put on stream and what do they look like?

Besides the usual captures, StreamPack Studio has its own elements that move by themselves with what happens on your networks: they work as soon as you connect your account in Livestreaming. You add them with the + on the layer list and customize each one in its Settings.

This is how they look in a scene, cycling through some of their styles:

Live chatMessages from all your networks in a single chat, with each one's icon and the sender's photo. You can change the bubble style, size and font, hide the photos or network icons, and choose whether name colours follow the network, are random or one fixed colour.Works with: TikTok, Twitch, Kick and YouTube
Top donorsThe ranking of who has given you the most during the stream, in their currency: TikTok coins, Twitch bits, Kick and YouTube Super Chats. It has several styles and colours, you choose how many places show, and you can hide the photos to keep just names and amounts.Works with: TikTok, Twitch, Kick and YouTube
Top likes (TikTok)Who has given you the most likes during the stream, with the total on top. Like Top donors, it changes style and colours, and the photos can be hidden.Works with: TikTok
Follower goalA bar that fills up towards your follower (or subscriber) goal, in each network's colours. You choose the goal, the text and the bar design, and you can show or hide your channel photo.Works with: TikTok, Twitch, Kick and YouTube
Highlight boxOne comment shown big, with the photo of whoever wrote it. You pick it from the multichat with “Highlight in scene”. It has two designs, label and glass, each with its colours, and the photo can be removed.Works with: TikTok, Twitch, Kick and YouTube
Live Actions (Alerts)What shows on screen when someone follows, subscribes, sends a gift or raids you. If you don't have time to prepare anything, pick an avatar or a creature: it comes out with a moving sign saying who it was and what they did, in their network's colour. You can also use your own things: custom messages, GIFs or videos.Works with: TikTok, Twitch and Kick
Actions panelShows your audience which gift or command triggers each action on the stream, as a grid, in rows or as a carousel. You change colours, size and how many actions show at once.Works with: TikTok, Twitch and Kick
Football scoreboardA scoreboard for your matches, with the teams, their colours, flags or your own crests and the match time, including stoppage time. It comes with World Cup, Champions League and Premier League templates, each with its own design and emblem.Works with: The Stream Deck: from there you add goals, control the clock and reset it
TimerA countdown for your scene: you start, pause or reset it from its settings. It's a text like any other, so you give it the font, size, colours and any of Studio's text styles: neon, gold, outline, pixel, retro…Works with: Any stream, no networks needed
On-screen crowdYour viewers walking around the scene as characters, with their name above them: they show up when they chat and jump when they send gifts, likes or subs, with a sign of what they did. There are blobs and creatures, and you can hide the names or the signs.Works with: The networks you have connected

Tip: With no stream data (for example, before you start) Top donors and Top likes draw nothing. In their settings, Show sample in the scene displays test rows so you can place them; they never go out on stream.

How do I move, scale, crop or hide a layer?

Click the layer on the canvas or in the list: drag it to move it and pull its corners to resize it. In its Settings you adjust position, size, opacity, crop and the options of each type.

In the list you can hide it without deleting it, lock it so it can't be moved from the canvas, and duplicate it. Ctrl+Z undoes and Ctrl+Y redoes.

Tip: Drag an image from Windows Explorer onto the canvas and it's added as a layer.

What are layer groups?

Several layers that move together, for example an AI-generated overlay with its chat frame and its camera frame. In the list they appear folded under a G header: unfold it to see what's inside, or select the whole group to move it at once.

With the dual canvas, why does each orientation have its own positions?

Because what looks good horizontally doesn't fit the same way vertically. With Dual canvas on, above the canvas you choose whether you're composing the 16:9 or the 9:16, and each one remembers where every layer goes.

A layer can also be exclusive to one orientation (for example, a big chat only in vertical).

Make main sets which of the two shows in Studio when the dual canvas is off there.

What does “Overlay AI” do? How much does it cost?

On the layer list, Overlay AI opens an assistant where AI designs the scene's overlay for you:

  • Describe what you want (style, colours, characters) or press Improve prompt to have it written better.
  • Pick the orientation and, if you like, add reference images (you can also paste them with Ctrl+V).
  • Generate it all at once or by parts: a chat frame, a decorative box…

It costs tokens depending on the quality; the dialog shows you the cost and your balance before generating. The result is added as layers you can then move and edit, and you can separate elements of an image into loose pieces.

And the camera “Frame AI”?

If you have a camera layer selected, the button becomes Frame AI: it generates a decorative frame sized for your camera. It's created on a green background and cut out by itself so your picture shows through.

Can I use my scene in OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio?

Yes. In the scene's ⋯ menu choose Export scene as link and paste that link in the other tool as a browser source.

Export the whole scene, not each layer separately: that way everything stays together, in place and in sync.

Important: Captures (screen, window, game, camera and phone), audio and the On-screen crowd aren't exported: add them directly in the other tool, which captures them without delay. Studio has to be open on the same computer.
