Live Actions and voice chat

Where it is: Side menu → Live Actions (TTS)Included in Streamer and Streamer Pro

Live Actions is what gets your audience involved: something happens on screen or inside your game when someone sends a gift, follows you or types a command, and the chat is read out loud. It has three tabs: General actions (Alerts), Game actions and Voice chat (TTS).

What is an action and what can happen on screen?

An action is a rule: when this happens (a specific gift, a follow, a sub, bits, a raid, a chat command…) on TikTok, Twitch or Kick, do that. Each action can be for one network or for all of them.

What it can do: an alert with text, icon and colour; an image or GIF (you can also search Giphy); a video; an animation of one of your Avatars; a sound (also from MyInstants); read a message out loud; or something inside a game.

When you create it, it's added by itself to the selected scene, hidden: show it in Scenes to place it and customize it. With Test you fire it with test data to see how it looks.

Tip: Images, videos and sounds are copied to Studio's folder on your computer: they aren't uploaded anywhere and work offline.

How do I set up alerts to thank gifts and follows?

In General actions (Alerts) there's one action that thanks everything at once: every gift, follow, sub, bits or raid from the chosen network comes out with a blob or a creature and a sign that mentions it (“Thanks for the rose, user!”).

For the message you have templates per event type; the name of whoever interacts is always included.

No time to design alerts? Just pick an avatar or a creature and it does it all: it comes out with the moving sign, in each network's colour. When you want, you can swap it for your own custom messages, GIFs or videos.

Avatars and creatures with a signHow the ready-made alert looks: a blob or a creature that comes out with a sign thanking the gift, follow, sub or raid, with the person's name.Works with: TikTok, Twitch and Kick

What are Game actions?

Your audience plays with you: you connect a compatible game's server over RCON and make a gift, a follow or a command do something inside the game, like spawning mobs, giving items or changing the weather. Each platform has its own rules.

Tick “Live on stream” on each game so its actions work while you stream that game. With Configure interactive actions you create the rules, and Visual panel has ready-made shortcuts.

  1. 1Press + Add game and pick the game.
  2. 2In Game servers, add yours (address, RCON port and password) and press Test to check it connects.
  3. 3In Minecraft you can also create a local server from Studio, choosing the name, the max players and the folder.
  4. 4Create the rules in Configure interactive actions.

How does voice chat (TTS) work?

In Voice chat Studio reads your networks' chat out loud. With Windows voices it works with no account, no key and no connection.

  • You choose the voice, the speed and the volume.
  • Connected networks: turn each network on or off to read its comments or not.
  • Reading mode: combined (in the real order they arrive) or by sections (all of one network and then the next, announcing “Comments from Kick”…).
  • Recent messages: what was read and what was skipped, with the reason.

How do I stop it reading things I don't want?

In What gets read (and, above all, what doesn't):

  • How many messages per minute are read at most.
  • Blocked users (with or without @): nothing from that person is read, neither comments nor gifts.
  • Blocked words.
  • Very long messages or ones with links aren't read.
  • A greeting for whoever joins the stream (only TikTok says who joins).

What are AI voices and character effects?

Besides Windows voices, voice chat can read with AI voices made by StreamPack. The first time you pick one it downloads (about 60 MB) and from then on it runs on your computer, with no internet.

Piper voices are also downloaded separately and run locally.

Character effects (robot, helmeted villain, sped-up creatures…) go on top of whichever voice you choose; pressing one plays right away how it sounds.

How do I create my own AI voice?

In Create a voice (beta) you make an AI voice on your own computer from real audio of that voice: your own files or links from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube… Studio isolates the voice, keeps the person who speaks the most, drops the bad parts and trains.

  1. 1The first time, press Install tools. They download only once (several GB); if the download is interrupted, it resumes.
  2. 2Press New voice, give it a name and choose the language (Spanish, English or both).
  3. 3Add references: files or links. At least 3 minutes in total, 10 recommended, 30 or more ideal: the more real audio, the more natural.
  4. 4Confirm the voice is yours or that you have its owner's permission and press Create voice. You can pause and it picks up where it left off.
  5. 5When it's done, the voice shows up in the voice chat picker like any other. With Download .onnx you keep a copy of the model.

Important: Only use your own voice or voices you have permission for. You are responsible for the content you upload and for any use of the voices you generate: don't use them to impersonate, deceive or harm anyone.
